It works great and smells very nice.

I absolutely love this pre-shave oil! The smell is brilliant but the rum isn’t too overpowering and it’s not like you smell like an alcoholic or anything. I keep my stubble short so I haven’t noticed the softening loads, but it definitely makes wet shaving with a cut throat razor easier. Great ordering process and checkout on the Cut Throat Club website too.

Really fragrant smell – no you don’t just smell like an alcoholic. It’s a pleasant smell and great to use before shaving too as it helps soften the hairs so you aren’t trying to tackle a forest on your face when shaving. Would always recommend Simpson shaving products.
