Excellent alternative to a cut throat

I’ve been using my Parker for about 3 years, after 2 decades of traditional cut throat use, mostly Dovo’s.
The Parker still has a vintage vibe with it’s decorated steel, and it carries a weight that is similar but it’s removes the need to sharpen the blade ( the hard bit) or the need to strop. It also ends up being a bit shorter, which is good if you need to sculpt around. Big Mo like I have.
I have tough wiry Scottish Red, and trying to shave through it with a slightly off traditional razor was getting to be a pain, whereas the Parker is always sharp.

Was a bit dubious of the razor at first but it looked great and was a good price so purchased it with reservation’s. Turns out it’s a nice bit of kit! Nicely weighted( for me) looks great and seems to be holding its own against my regular razor for build quality, it’s nicely ergonomic and for the price I seem to have picked a winner!

Shavette > Straight Razor

Massive fan of this razor! I was tired of stropping and my straight razor is pretty old so I moved over to a shavette because I still love the look of a straight razor and the way it's used and this has been the perfect cross over. I'm using the 'Parker Premium Platinum 100 Half Blades' and they're giving a nice close shave. Prefer this style for right now and it's a lot cheaper
